Susan L. Johnson Choral Music Scholarship
The Susan L. Johnson Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to UNLV choral music students and is the first scholarship of its kind at the university. It is the first award to exist solely for choral music students and to be entirely administered by the director of choral studies. It is the goal of the Las Vegas Master Singers to continue to grow this fund thereby aiding in the financial assistance of deserving students and ensuring the continued growth of quality choral music in Southern Nevada.

Susan L. Johnson
Ms. Johnson holds her BA degree in Music Education and has sung with choral organizations throughout the United States including the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, the Berkshire Lyric Theater Chorus, the Southern California Choral Society, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Currently she and her husband, Ed, a former charter member of the Master Singers and a likewise avid choral musician, sing with the Coventry Choir of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California, a highly respected ensemble that recently performed for last year’s National AGO Convention, and in December of 2004, at the Walt Disney Music Center with Garrison Keillor.
